Menu Variety - Meh

There are ten HH choices ranging from $6 to $12. Most options are fried. Typical foods. No descriptions on happy hour menu, we had to refer to the regular menu for descriptions, but they were included with the happy hour menus.

Food Quality - Good

We had:
  • Fish Tacos - $10
  • Fried Brussels Sprouts - $10
  • Space Dust IPA - $7
Another couple joined us and had lettuce wraps ($8) and fish tacos. Because Patty doesn't like spicy they put salsa and sriracha aoli on side. Server brought brussels sprouts ahead of time as requested, followed up shortly by the other dishes. The tacos came with a fried jalapeno. Both were tasty and plenty filling.

Service Quality/ Friendliness - Meh

We arrived at 5:30. Service was good from the beginning through food service, then the server brought the bill to the table right after our food was served because she was leaving. That's when service trailed off. No one came to table to check on us; we had to flag down a server to pay the bill. We could understand if the bar was busy, but even when we left there were open tables.

Noise Level/ Ambience - Good

The noise level when we got there registered at 55 decibels, but got a little louder by the time we left. There were two TVs in the bar area, both with sound muted. The tasteful music in background made it comfortable enough to maintain a conversation. There were plenty of tables, both high and low. The decor is not the most up-to-date, but pleasant and comfortable.

Value - Meh

Happy hour pricing for food in some cases is not much different from the regular menu. Vegetable Samosas were only $1 cheaper on the HH menu. Space Dust beer was $7, more expensive than the typical HH draft. You'll find much better value as a member of Passport Corporate. 13 Coins is a Passport participant and offers a complimentary entree with the purchase of another. We recently ate there and got Monte Cristo and Reuben sandwiches at a much better value. If you've got Passport Corporate then you can eat well at a great price, but for HH it's not a great deal compared to others in the area.
