Menu Variety - Awesome

There are 15 items ranging from $10 to $19. Great breadth of items; a couple of familiar items that you see on other HH menus, but most are unique. Good selection of drinks, though there is no beer on HH.

 Food Quality - Awesome

We ordered:
  • Charcuterie and Cheese Plate - $19
  • Beer Battered Artichoke Hearts - $12
  • Seven Flavor Prime Tenderloin Bites - $15
  • USDA Prime Beef Bacon Cheeseburger - $15
  • Sweet Italian Sausage & Roasted Pepper Flatbread - $14
  • Shiraz - $4.50
  • Chardonnay - $4.50
  • IPA - $8
We went with another couple and shared all items. Every item ordered was truly delicious, and there was great attention to ensuring items were prepared as asked. The cheeseburger was ordered without bun and rare and the flatbread without the crushed red chilies. Both came exactly as asked. Very high-quality ingredients clearly prepared with pride. Generous servings; for four of us we probably could have had one less item; but then again we wouldn't have had the opportunity to try all we did. Truly awesome.

Service Quality/ Friendliness - Awesome

We got there around 4:50PM and there was already a line of people waiting to get into the bar area. There was a concierge seating people, something you don't typically see in a bar area. This was particularly good to avoid smaller parties taking up larger tables. We only waited about ten minutes before being seated. After being seated we were promptly approached with a drink order and water. Our server was pleasant, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We had frequent table visits to fill water glasses and ensure we had everything we needed. We even had the concierge offer to take coats while we were waiting for our table.

Noise Level/ Ambience - Good

Noise level registered at 71 decibels, all due to conversations in the very busy bar area. We didn't notice any music or TVs. The bar area has pleasant aesthetics with comfortable chairs, but there was nothing spectacular about the vibe or view. We did get to look at this spectacular couple that not only joined us but let us help them use up a gift card they've been holding. Thanks Ron & Darlene!

Value - Awesome

Pricing is a bit higher than expected of a typical HH, but the quality and quantity of food compensate for higher pricing. They do charge a 20% service charge; something we prefer restaurants not do. They were very clear about highlighting the service charge to notify us it was charged. Having said that, the quality of the servers and staff meant we would have tipped appropriately, so we don't feel as if the service charge was unfair.
